There is too much going on in a cancer patient’s life for them to keep track of their treatments and understand how everything works. What if there was an Amazon for healthcare? There is.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. The Internet has too much information at times and a diagnosis can seem like a death sentence. This is not helpful. Rebecca Owens founded Swelter, a “patient immersion application” to work with clinicians to provide information for patients and drive awareness. Less mental stress means more physical health.
