You can’t expect everything that is unexpected.
I believe strongly in the virtue of resilience. It’s critical for results in business and in life.
Resilience is not expressed in times where the expected has happened. The key to expecting the unexpected is not planning for every possible scenario. This is impossible and crippling for your people and your businesses.
Instead, you have to expect to “feel” the unexpected from time to time. These are the times when you express resilience.
Take the time to plan what you can but don’t sacrifice you and your team’s ability to react and think on the fly.
Have a generous day.
